Space Architect, Founder & CEO | Stellar Amenities

Anastasia Prosina

Anastasia Prosina transforms advanced space architecture concepts into practical advantages for Fortune 500 firms. As Founder of Stellar Amenities, a San Francisco-based consultancy, she bridges the gap between space innovation and terrestrial application. Her work spans human-centered habitat design and AI-enhanced systems that function optimally in confined spaces—directly benefiting large-scale infrastructure projects and public facilities on Earth.

Her company serves as the specialized space architecture partner for global engineering leaders, providing expertise these organizations need to capture high-value NASA and commercial space contracts without developing internal capabilities from scratch. The NASA Artemis program ($45.2B) and commercial LEO economy ($8B+) create unprecedented opportunities for architectural firms to apply their Earth-based expertise to space applications, particularly with Commercial LEO Destination contracts becoming available as NASA approaches its 2030 ISS transition.

A published researcher in human spaceflight, space architecture, and design in extreme environments, Prosina applies evidence-based approaches to both terrestrial and extraterrestrial projects. Her methodology leverages principles of recycling, material efficiency, and human factors to create environments that balance operational efficiency with occupant wellbeing across diverse project types.

Her research collaboration with former NASA Deputy Administrator Dr. Dava Newman received the Best Professional Paper Award from AIAA in 2019/2020. Prosina’s insights have been featured in Aerospace America, Interesting Engineering, CNBC, and the Wall Street Journal, and others.

Named to Payload Pioneer’s 2023 30 Under 30 list by industry leaders from Blue Origin and the Department of Defense, Prosina serves on the AIAA Space Architecture Technical Committee. She holds an MS in Space Architecture from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Architecture with a focus on Urban Planning from Novosibirsk State University.
