Jerry Ryan is the Founder and Executive Chairman of HKR, a leading global design consultancy that has focused from its foundation on efficient project delivery utilising modern construction methodologies, more recently driven by technology and AI-powered solutions. With a deep commitment to advancing the industry, Jerry has led HKR’s pioneering work in industrialised design and construction, including prefabrication, modular design, and sustainable building practices. Under his leadership, HKR has positioned itself at the forefront of the industry, improving construction efficiency and reducing environmental impact through cutting-edge techniques.
In addition to his leadership in modern methods of construction (MMC), Jerry’s role has been to promote the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Design. HKR has developed in-house AI-driven design tools that optimise building performance and streamline project workflows, revolutionising the design process. Beyond his technical contributions, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers, fostering creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
Jerry promotes the traditional role of architect as the Lead Design Consultant, which has inevitably led HKR to become a leading Multidisciplinary practice. He works closely with clients, assembling specialised teams tailored to each project to ensure efficient and successful delivery. With an international outlook and a deep understanding of cultural dynamics, HKR’s future-proof, environmentally conscious approach consistently exceeds client expectations.
HKR has been delivering landmark projects in KSA and the broader region including the largest hotel in the world at Kaaki in Mecca, Abu Dhabi Plaza in Astana, and the world’s largest modular project (under NDA) in KSA. HKR’s recent expansion with the establishment of a fully serviced office in Riyadh reinforces its commitment to setting new benchmarks in efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
