Kevin is Founding Principal and the Creative Director of Graphite, an architecture, design, and engineering studio based in Dubai, U.A.E. He leads the practice with a clear vision and a deep commitment to creating spaces that positively shape the urban environment. Since the founding of Graphite in 2014, Kevin has driven the studio’s rapid growth, establishing its reputation both nationally and internationally. Under his leadership, Graphite has developed a diverse portfolio that spans various project types and scales.
With a career that bridges design studios and client-side roles, Kevin brings extensive experience across Education, Hospitality, Commercial, High-Rise, Private Residential, and Master-planned developments. His professional journey includes working with prominent firms such as BDP Quadrangle and McKinley Studios in Canada, Sheppard Robson in the UK, and LW Design Group and GAJ Architects in the UAE. He also served as a Senior Design Manager at GEMS Education, overseeing projects across the U.S., UAE, and Southeast Asia.
Canadian-born and globally educated, Kevin holds a Master of Architecture (with Honours) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. He is a licensed architect in Canada (OAA) and the UK (ARB), and a member of both the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Additionally, he is a LEED Accredited Professional with a Building Design + Construction (BD+C) specialty, reflecting his commitment to sustainable, impactful design.
