Tiago Sampaio

Tiago Manuel Sampaio is a distinguished architect with over 22 years of experience in architecture and urban design. As Design Principal at U+A, he leads master planning and concept design, shaping large-scale developments that redefine cityscapes. A graduate of Lusiada University in Lisbon, he is a registered Architect and a member of the Portuguese Architects Council.

His expertise spans diverse sectors, including Stadia, Aviation, Residential, Hospitality, Education, and Commercial developments. With international experience across Portugal, England, Cyprus, and the UAE, Tiago integrates a global perspective into his design philosophy. Since joining U+A in 2015, he has played a key role in driving the firm’s strategic direction, ensuring each project seamlessly blends creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
Tiago has led landmark projects such as Arabian Ranches III and Expo Valley in Dubai, Amaala Four Seasons in KSA, Rosso Bay and Nikki Beach Residences in Ras Al Khaimah, as well as Solea in Abu Dhabi and Verve City Walk in Dubai. His ability to merge technical expertise with visionary design solutions has positioned him as a leader in contemporary architecture.
